Studio 22 is a Rocklin recording studio where artists can choose the engineer whose perspective fits the record, step into a professional room, and create with a team that listens before it reaches for a formula.
The people behind the room
Different ears. One standard.
Steven Pereira opened Studio 22 in December 2022 to give artists a professional room where ideas could become records with clarity, quality, and intention. Today, six engineers bring their own experience, taste, and creative approach to that vision.
That range matters because no two artists need the exact same session. Across the team, the standard stays consistent: listen first, make the process clear, and use the room, equipment, and engineering decisions in service of the song—not a formula.
Studio 22 is not built around making every artist sound the same. It is built to help each artist choose the right collaborator, feel comfortable enough to create, and leave with the record further along than when they arrived.
